Thriller films comprises of excitement, terror, surprise, suspense, anxiety, uncertainty and anticipation. It allows the audience to try and think what will happen, it stimulates their imagination to think. This ensures the audience is not lazy during the film which could bore them. This particular clip of Alfred Hitchcock's Touch of evil not only leads us to anticipate the revealing of the antagonists identity but the detonation of the bomb which has been planted. It also leads us to think why the antagonist wants those people dead.
